SEMMA Members are those Companies who have registered their details with SEMMA and have been approved by the Board of Management.
Use of this website is subject to these terms of use.
These terms of use are governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria, Australia and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria, Australia and any courts which may hear appeals from those courts.
Membership & payment options
SEMMA operates on a membership basis which affords members access to services, events and support. Companies can become members for an annual membership fee as listed on this website. The membership fee is payable in full, via EFT, cheque or credit card. Renewal period is annually. New members are invoiced following approval from the SEMMA Board of Management and membership is activated upon payment of the invoice. New members are notified by email and/or mail
All amounts shown on the SEMMA website are GST inclusive.
Refunds
SEMMA does not offer refunds. Where SEMMA is not financially disadvantaged a credit may be applicable.
Resignations
All resignations of membership must be made in writing.
SEMMA is committed to protecting your privacy.
SEMMA does not sell, rent, loan, or give your email address or other contact information to any third party. We do not give out information about our members. Your company and/or personal details are protected by your user name and password and our secure servers, firewalls, secure premises and data management protocols. To ensure ongoing privacy we recommend you change your password from time to time, and never give your password to anyone.
This privacy policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our services. We commit to hold all information you provide to us in absolute privacy. Only SEMMA employees may access your information and all SEMMA employees are required to adhere to our strict privacy policies and any employee who violates the privacy policy is subject to termination and other disciplinary measures.
The amount of information we collect about you depends on how you use the website and whether you elect to give us any information about yourself by becoming a registered SEMMA member or registering for an event. SEMMA may use your personal information to:
(a) send you relevant information by email or post; and
(b) compile a consumer profile about you to enable SEMMA to better serve you; and
(c) complete a transaction using credit card information you provide to us.
We do not store cardholder information supplied by you, destroying any references to your cardholder information following the completed transaction. This is a security practice all SEMMA employees must adhere to. All on-line credit card transactions to purchase SEMMA products and services, are made on a secure ANZ hosted payments facility managed by the ANZ. Please see the ANZ privacy policy for further information.
If you visit this website to read or download information we record your server address, domain name, the date and time of your visit and the information downloaded. This information is used for statistical and site development purposes only.
We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information, which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up-to-date. If you decide to become a SEMMA member, you will receive email/written communication from us to confirm your registration/application. From time to time, members may receive notification of events, media releases, newsletters and/or opportunities.
The SEMMA website contains links to other web sites that are not controlled by SEMMA ("Third Party Sites"). Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. The SEMMA privacy policy applies only to information collected by this website.
